On Saturday, 27 Feb 2010, ASKOBI (Association For Victims of Terrorism Bombings in Indonesia), sponsored by Global Survivors Network, hosted a Working Discussion featuring the nation's leading experts in new media (Facebook, SMS) and traditional media (print, radio and television), as well as government and other NGO officials to discuss how victims of terrorism can best spread their message of peace and support through the various channels represented. This event took place at the prestigious Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta.

That same day also marked the launch of the new ASKOBI website, presided over by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. R.M.Marty Natalegawa, M. Phil, B.Sc.

The following day, 28 Feb 2010, ASKOBI, sponsored by Global Survivors Network, invited high school and university students from the Jakarta area to speak with victims of terror.  Many volunteered to help ASKOBI speak out around the country, and were thrilled by a surprise performance of the top Indonesian pop star D'Masif.
